A chemical reaction is when chemicals combine to create a new substance. We know that a chemical reaction has occured becuse there is a new substance formed, a color change,a phyiscal change, heat or energy has been given off and a odor is given off.

  2. Makeda,

Congratulations for being the first one in your class to respond to my blog. Are there any more evidences to identify chemical reaction other than what you had mentioned? In class demonstrations may help you to answer this question.

  3. A chemical reaction is when one or more chemicals change into one or more new substances. We can tell when a chemical reaction has occured because a new substance has formed, a color change has occured, heat is gained or lost, or when the texture of the substance has changed. One evidence that I can remember is the lab that we did in class the other day, when we put the tablet in the water and it began to fizz. That was an example of a chemical reaction.

  4. A chemical change is when a substance is chemicaly change into one or more new substances.A chemical change occures when one or more chemicals react to become different chemical. It s noticable when the substance has a change in weight, color, aperence or either combind into one

  5. A chemical reaction is a change in which one or more reactants change into one or more products. They are characterized by the breaking of bonds in reactants and the formation of bonds in products. You may identify that chemical reaction has occured if a gas or vapor produces, and there maybe a change in color, and or weight.

  6. A chemical reaction is a process that leads to the transformation of one set of chemical substances to another. Basically when a new subtance is formed by reaction from another subtance or subtances. You can tell when a chemical reaction has occured by the change of color, weight, smell or texture.

  7. A Chemical Reation Is When Chemicals Has Mixed Together To Make A New Substance . You Know When A Chemical Reaction Has Occured When There Is A Color Change Or When A Smell Has Occured .

  8. A chemical reaction is a change in which one or more reactants change into one or more products. You can identify that c chemical reaction has occured by the transfer of energy, a change in color, the production of a gas, or the formation of a precipitate.

  9. chem. reactions are reactions that change a substance on a chemical level which means the combined substances cannot be seperated or returned back to their original state. an examplke is burning wood once it turns into ash it cannot be reversed.A way that you can tell a chemical reaction has occured is if there is a change in color, state of matter, release of gas and scent
